The most authoritative national event dedicated to civil economy, in the Rocca of Bertinoro
Since 2001, The Bertinoro Days for Civil Economy have represented the most authoritative Italian event dedicated to the themes of civil economy. Every year, in the hilltop village of Bertinoro, in the province of Forlì-Cesena (Emilia-Romagna), academics, protagonists of the Third Sector, representatives of institutions, and the business world gather for two days of discussion, research, and dialogue. The event is promoted by AICCON Research Center, a research center linked to the University of Bologna.
The sessions take place at the Bertinoro University Center (CEUB), housed within the ancient Rocca that overlooks the town and offers a view stretching to the Adriatic Sea. This intimate setting, far from the dispersion of large conferences, fosters a climate of intense exchange and a quality of listening that has become the distinctive feature of the Days.
Each edition addresses a central theme, explored in plenary sessions, previews of national data, and in-depth discussions. Among the issues that animate the debate:
The Days are not just a conference, but a true working method: an opportunity where academic research, entrepreneurial experience, and civil commitment meet to generate ideas and concrete proposals. Over the years, the event has helped bring civil economy from specialist debate to the center of public policy and Third Sector strategies.
For those involved in the world of cooperation, social enterprise, volunteering, or simply interested in a more sustainable and inclusive development model, Bertinoro is an unmissable stop every autumn.
The Bertinoro Days for Civil Economy return for their twenty-sixth edition from October 7 to 10, 2026, in the usual setting of the Bertinoro University Center (CEUB), within the Rocca. The dates have been confirmed by the organizers AICCON and CEUB.
As every year, the event will bring together academics, protagonists of the Third Sector, representatives of institutions, and the business world to reflect on development, work, community, and the common good through plenary sessions and previews of national data.
The theme for the 2026 edition and the detailed program (speakers, sessions, and times) will be published on the official website legiornatedibertinoro.it in the months leading up to the event. Registration, which is limited, is managed through AICCON.
The detailed program for the XXVI edition, including the chosen theme, speakers, and sessions, will be announced by the organizers in the months preceding the event and published on the official website legiornatedibertinoro.it. The usual structure includes an opening evening, plenary sessions on the central two days, and previews of national data.
