About Tessere d'Arte

At the Dino Zoli Foundation in Forlì, on Viale Bologna, "Tessere d'Arte — Intertwining Matter and Creation" is on display, an exhibition dedicated to Fiber Art curated by Nadia Stefanel. From April 29 to July 31, 2026, fabric becomes an expressive language and a ground for contemporary experimentation, recounting nine years of dialogue between the Dino Zoli Textile company and artists. Free admission, in a journey that intertwines residencies, installations, and special projects.

When Fabric Becomes Art

In the heart of Forlì, along Viale Bologna, the Dino Zoli Foundation hosts from April 29 to July 31, 2026, the exhibition Tessere d'Arte — Intertwining Matter and Creation, an exhibition project entirely dedicated to Fiber Art, the field where textiles assert themselves as an expressive language, a ground for contemporary experimentation, and a space for shared research between companies and artists. The curation is entrusted to Nadia Stefanel, who has been curating the Foundation's programming for years.

Nine Years of Dialogue Between Art and Business

The exhibition stems from the experience of Dino Zoli Textile, a company active since 1972 and a protagonist of Made in Italy worldwide, which has built an articulated collaboration path with artists and creatives over the last nine years. From 2017 to today, the company's materials, technologies, and production skills have become tools for experimentation, activating a continuous dialogue between textile design and artistic research. "Tessere d'Arte" thus presents itself as a restitution: of a working method and a way of understanding the relationship between culture and production.

Residencies, Installations, and Special Projects

The exhibition is divided into three main sections. Artistic residencies, including that of Elena Bellantoni (2022), which involved employees in participatory workshops and the creation of linen and velvet costumes that were later incorporated into the video work Se ci fosse luce sarebbe bellissimo. Group exhibitions, such as Utopiche seduzioni. Dai nuovi materiali alla Recycled Art (2023-24) with the immersive installation Plot by Francesca Pasquali, and Trame esplorative (2024-25). Finally, special projects, including È QUI, created with students from the Decoration course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. Works by Silvia Camporesi and Silvia Bigi are also on display.

An Excellence of Forlì

Located in the Municipality of Forlì, in the province of Forlì-Cesena, the Dino Zoli Foundation is a private non-profit organization that promotes contemporary culture and art in Emilia-Romagna. With "Tessere d'Arte," the Foundation confirms its vocation to investigate the relationship between creativity and the industrial fabric, in a city that has always intertwined manufacturing tradition and cultural research.
