Three days of jazz and blues music amidst the wines of the Valdera
Terricciola Jazz, Blues & Wine is a summer festival that brings jazz and blues to the streets of the historic center of Terricciola, a village in the upper Valdera area of the Pisa province, in the heart of Tuscany. For three days in mid-August, the most evocative squares and corners of the town become a stage for live concerts, accompanied by tastings of wines produced in the numerous local cellars. It is a formula that combines entertainment, culture, and fine food and wine, designed to engage a wide audience of music lovers and connoisseurs of good drink.
The common thread of the event is the encounter between the great tradition of jazz and blues and the wine culture that has characterized Terricciola for centuries. The village, situated on a gentle hillside, is well-known for its cellars and the wines of the Valdera, which are offered during the festival as an accompaniment to the concerts. Spectators can wander through the various locations in the historic center, savoring a glass of local wine while listening to live musical ensembles.
Terricciola is a small municipality in the Pisan hinterland that preserves a medieval urban layout, with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and a still-vibrant agricultural and winemaking vocation. The festival is one of the flagship initiatives of the summer calendar organized by the municipal administration, part of a program that offers numerous events dedicated to culture, traditions, and the promotion of local tourism throughout the warmer months.
Though recently established, the festival has quickly become one of the most anticipated musical events of the Terricciola summer, thanks to the commitment of the La Compagnia del Bosco association and the support of the Municipality of Terricciola. The organizers' stated goal is to build a high-quality artistic program capable of intertwining culture, entertainment, and tourism promotion, strengthening Terricciola's role as a cultural and gastronomic destination in Tuscany.
The second edition of Terricciola Jazz, Blues & Wine will be held from Tuesday, August 11 to Thursday, August 13, 2026, in the historic center of Terricciola. The festival confirms the formula that combines jazz and blues concerts with tastings of Valdera wines, as part of the rich summer program of the Municipality of Terricciola.
The dates are official, while the complete artistic program, with the list of guests and evening schedules, will be published by the organizers closer to the event. It is recommended to consult the official channels of the Municipality and the La Compagnia del Bosco association for updates.
