A weekend of LEGO® bricks, tennis, and fun for the whole family
Tennislandia Brick Edition is the event in Varallo Pombia, a small town in the Novara province of lower Piedmont, that brings together two seemingly distant worlds: the creativity of LEGO® bricks and the energy of tennis. Organized by A.S.D. Cascinetta Tennis in partnership with the Fotografia Costruttiva association and supported by the Municipality of Varallo Pombia, the event transforms the Via della Gioventù Multipurpose Area into a space where sport, play, and imagination coexist for an entire weekend.
The common thread is shared fun for both adults and children. At the heart of the event is the exhibition of works created with LEGO® bricks, accompanied by a themed photography exhibition curated by Fotografia Costruttiva. A dedicated play area is set up for children with the Little Builders project, where youngsters can try their hand at creating their own builds and participate in the final awards ceremony. There is also a snack time for kids and face painting, making the day even more festive.
Alongside the exhibitions, tennis remains the beating heart of the event: tennis activities open to everyone are scheduled daily, designed to introduce the sport to those who have never played before. It is the perfect opportunity to discover the local club, meet the A.S.D. Cascinetta Tennis team, and try out a racket in an informal and welcoming atmosphere.
Tennislandia is also about conviviality. A refreshment area is open throughout the event, while the highlight on Saturday evening is the aperitif followed by the grand Spring Paella feast (reservation required). The festivities continue on Sunday with lunch, closing the weekend with great food and good company.
Events like this perfectly illustrate the vibrant community spirit of small towns in Piedmont: organizations like A.S.D. Cascinetta Tennis know how to reinvent themselves by proposing original formats that blend sport, culture, and social interaction. Tennislandia Brick Edition is a free and accessible event, ideal for a family outing between Lake Maggiore and the Novara plains.
