About Talenti Festival

Created to give a voice to contemporary talent, the Talenti Festival has quickly become one of the most recognizable cultural events in the province of Salerno. Held at the Villa Comunale in Battipaglia, the festival blends talks, award ceremonies, and urban pop music, using a language tailored to the younger generation. The 2026 edition, the fifth, took place on Sunday, June 7th, with sustainability as its central theme, hosted within the Ciclolonga Village for the 50th anniversary of Radio Castelluccio.

A festival that tells the story of today's talent

The Talenti Festival is the event that the Municipality of Battipaglia, in the province of Salerno, dedicates to celebrating contemporary talent. Conceived by the Associazione Talenti, the event has grown with each edition to become one of the most active and recognizable cultural fixtures in Campania: it is not just a concert lineup, but a hub where music, information, social commitment, and personal storytelling come together.

The heart of the project is the dialogue with the new generation. The festival deliberately chooses a contemporary and accessible language—that of social media, new media, and urban music—without sacrificing the depth of its content. Those who take the stage are invited to share their stories, explain how they reached their goals, and offer Generation Z a real-world roadmap rather than just a showcase.

The Villa Comunale as a cultural square

The home of the festival is the Villa Comunale on Via Belvedere, the green lung in the center of Battipaglia. It is an open, accessible space that the festival transforms for an evening (or several days, as in previous summer editions) into an open-air cultural square: a stage, seating, refreshment areas, and an audience that mingles freely, including families, young people, and curious passersby.

This choice is consistent with the event's identity: the Talenti Festival is deeply rooted in the Battipaglia area and aims to remain a local event—essentially free and accessible to all—while still being capable of attracting nationally renowned names.

Talks, awards, and music

The established format alternates between three key moments:

  • Talks — meetings with journalists, professionals, artists, and institutional representatives on a core theme chosen each year (peace in 2024, sustainability in 2026).
  • Awards — recognition given to individuals who, in their respective fields (culture, media, sports, institutions, activism, work, accessibility), represent positive examples and role models.
  • Musical talks and live sets — the most distinctive part of the event, dedicated to the urban pop scene and singer-songwriters, featuring both emerging artists and established names.

In summer editions, the program has expanded to include sports and workshops: 3x3 basketball tournaments, chess, dance, readings for young people, and workshops on comics, ceramics, and street art, confirming the multidisciplinary vocation of the festival.

The 2026 edition: sustainability and Ciclolonga Village

The fifth edition was held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM, with sustainability as the central theme—approached from a broad and cross-cutting perspective that goes beyond environmental aspects to enter the daily lives of people, their work, relationships, and culture.

The event was integrated into the Ciclolonga Village, the vast program of events organized to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the broadcaster Radio Castelluccio—now RCS75—and the historic Ciclolonga bike ride: a convergence that united two of the strongest collective memories of the Piana del Sele.

Why it's worth attending

In a regional landscape rich in food festivals and large summer events, the Talenti Festival occupies a unique space: it is an urban, youthful event built on storytelling rather than pure spectacle. Those who come to Battipaglia for the evening find an opportunity to hear stories of work and creativity, discover artists from the Campanian urban scene before they become household names, and experience the Villa Comunale in a different light. For visitors exploring the province of Salerno—between the coast, Paestum, and Cilento—it is also a way to get to know contemporary Campania, the one that speaks in its own language.

Talenti Festival — edition 2026

The fifth edition of the Talenti Festival took place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Villa Comunale on Via Belvedere, Battipaglia. From 7:00 PM, talks, meetings, and award ceremonies focused on the theme of sustainability, with ten awards given to professionals in culture, media, sports, and activism, plus a special award for Jacopo Gubitosi of Giffoni. From 9:00 PM, the musical talk powered by 4quarti Magazine featured the Campanian urban pop scene. The edition was part of the Ciclolonga Village for the 50th anniversary of Radio Castelluccio (RCS75).

Talenti Festival 2026 — fifth edition

On Sunday, June 7, 2026, the Villa Comunale of Battipaglia hosted the fifth edition of the Talenti Festival, with a format concentrated into a single evening but packed with content. The core theme chosen by the Associazione Talenti was sustainability, interpreted in a broad sense: environmental, social, cultural, professional, and relational, even questioning what it means to «be in the world» today.

The evening opened at 7:00 PM with talks and awards, continuing at 9:00 PM with the musical talk created in collaboration with 4quarti Magazine, dedicated to some of the most followed urban pop artists of the moment. The patron of the event is Ferix (Enrico Fereoli), creator of the festival and an artist in the rap and urban scene; the artistic direction of the 2026 edition was entrusted to Andrea Picariello.

The event was part of the Ciclolonga Village, the program of events organized for the fiftieth anniversary of Radio Castelluccio (now RCS75) and for the historic Ciclolonga bike ride.
