Textile crafts exhibition and market at Villa Piazzo, Pettinengo
(T)essere Insieme is a market exhibition dedicated to textile craftsmanship, held every June in the park and 19th-century villa of Villa Piazzo in Pettinengo, in the province of Biella, the heart of the Piedmontese textile district. Organized by the Piccola Fata ODV association in partnership with Pacefuturo and Casa Clementina, with the patronage of the Municipality of Pettinengo, the event uses the loom as a metaphor: an opportunity to come together and rebuild, thread by thread, both ancient and modern social fabrics.
Pettinengo is a town that has always thrived on hospitality and interconnected relationships. In this spirit, (T)essere Insieme attracts artisans, weavers, enthusiasts, and families every year. The market fair is the heart of the event, where stalls featuring fabrics, yarns, handmade goods, and local products are complemented by live demonstrations of artistic crafts, from weaving and basketry to embroidery and woodturning.
The 18th edition, held on June 13–14, 2026, focused on the theme "Linen in Play: Blue Weaves from Around the World," accompanied by the exhibition "In Blue, Painted Blue." The program blended culture, nature, and play, featuring guided tours of the vegetable gardens and park, grand openings, the fascinating sheep shearing, a visit to the Piccola Fata Childhood Museum, and live music with the band Florie & The Lazy Cats.
The entire event takes place at Villa Piazzo, an elegant 19th-century residence surrounded by a historic park and well-tended gardens, now a hub for culture and initiatives related to slow tourism and hospitality. With free admission and a family-friendly atmosphere, (T)essere Insieme is a precious opportunity to discover the authentic and industrious face of the Biella area, a land of wool and looms in Piedmont.
