The small town of Pettinengo, in the Province of Biella, in the heart of the Piedmontese pre-Alps, is a proud addition to the calendar of the Suoni in Movimento festival, the traveling music series that has been enlivening the Biella area since 2012 with concerts hosted in museums, castles, and prestigious sites. For the 15th edition, scheduled from May 16 to November 13, 2026, the Museo degli Acquasantini hosts an event within the "Sound Paths in the Biella Museum Network" section.

A journey from opera to musicals

The concert scheduled for July 12, 2026, is titled "Traveling from Opera to Musicals" and offers a musical itinerary that crosses different genres and eras. On stage is soprano Daria Masiero, accompanied on the piano by Elena Ballario, artistic director of the festival alongside Sergio Patria. The repertoire ranges from the lyricism of Tosti and Puccini to the famous soundtracks of Ennio Morricone, in a program designed to thrill both classical music enthusiasts and the most curious audiences.

The festival involves numerous municipalities in the province, including Biella, Salussola, Netro, Sordevolo, Viverone, Pray, Campiglia Cervo, Roppolo, Cavaglià, and Pettinengo, intertwining great artists, young talents, and new compositions with the discovery of the Piedmontese landscape and heritage.
