On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM, the Municipality of Sampeyre, in Valle Varaita (Cuneo Province), hosts one of the most anticipated events of the 22nd Suoni dal Monviso festival: a concert by Arisa. The singer-songwriter from Basilicata and Sanremo Festival winner will take the stage at the natural amphitheatre of Borgata Fiandrini, a mountain setting at the foot of Monviso that transforms music into an immersive landscape experience in Piedmont every summer.

The concert and repertoire

For the Sampeyre stop, Arisa presents a setlist spanning her entire career—from Sincerità to La notte, and Controvento, the song that won her the Sanremo Festival in 2014—alongside new tracks from her album "Foto Mosse". The concert is part of the artist's summer tour, a series of dates held in Italy's most evocative outdoor locations, and marks a major opening moment for the 2026 festival season.

A natural amphitheatre in the mountains

The highlight of this event is the venue: Borgata Fiandrini, a natural amphitheatre nestled in the greenery above Sampeyre. It is accessible exclusively on foot via a ten-minute walk from the parking area, with no chairlifts or shuttles required. The audience will enjoy the concert from a single meadow-seating area, in a setting that blends great music with alpine nature—perfectly in line with the 22nd edition's theme, dedicated to the dialogue between music and the four elements: air, water, earth, and fire.

The festival across the Monviso valleys

Suoni dal Monviso is a widespread festival that brings ten events to eight municipalities across four Cuneo valleys, from Valle Po to Valle Varaita, between June and November. The 2026 edition features, alongside Arisa, concerts by artists such as Francesca Michielin in Paesana, as well as numerous local choral, orchestral, and emerging ensembles, culminating in a grand finale in November at the Saluzzo Cathedral. The festival is promoted by the Associazione I Polifonici del Marchesato, founded in 2004, with the support of over thirty public and private partners.
