Summertime is the event that brings the alpine village of Chialamberto to life on August 6, 2026. Located in the Valli di Lanzo in the province of Turin, in the heart of Piedmont, this day is designed to showcase the region by bringing together local economy, music, and social moments, transforming the village streets and squares into a lively, shared celebration.

Part of the Festival of Knowledge

Summertime is not a standalone event: it is part of the Festival of Knowledge (Festival dei Saperi), a major cultural project promoted by the Unione Montana Valli di Lanzo, Ceronda e Casternone, launched in May 2026. It is a "widespread festival" involving fifteen municipalities, each hosting distinct events united by the goal of highlighting the material and intangible heritage of the valleys—an "open book made of people, traditions, art, nature, identity, and community." From May to September, villages such as Lanzo, Balme, Ala di Stura, Cantoira, and Corio take turns in a calendar that spans the entire mountain territory.
