The Volvera Street Food Festival

The 'Quando si ama davvero' Street Food Festival is a major community celebration that brings Volvera, a town in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont, to life. For four days, the central Piazza Sandro Pertini turns into a street food village, featuring vendors from all over Italy and abroad, alongside Piedmontese craft breweries, exhibition stands, and an entertainment area designed for children.

More than just food: music and shows

The event goes beyond gastronomy. Every evening features free concerts, artistic performances, DJ sets, and live broadcasts with Radio Antenna Uno. The 2026 edition brought Italian music stars like Marco Ligabue and the Calabrian singer-songwriter Mimmo Cavallaro to the stage, the latter dedicated to the music and folk traditions of Southern Italy, as well as Caribbean dance performances. In previous editions, the festival hosted artists such as Povia, Ivana Spagna, and Bobby Solo, alongside the Volvera Comics section dedicated to cosplay and pop culture.

A festival for the whole family

The spirit of the event is that of a grand popular celebration: free admission, outdoor seating, music until late, and a convivial atmosphere that attracts families, young people, and food lovers from across the Pinerolo area. With a mix of Italian and international street food, desserts, beers, and local specialties, there is a chance to sample a wide variety of flavors in one single square.

Organization

The event is organized by Puro Stile Italiano in collaboration with the Evolversi association, the new Pro Loco of Volvera, and the local parish, with the support of the Municipality of Volvera. Over the years, the event has grown rapidly, expanding the number of food stands and enriching the calendar of concerts and activities, becoming one of the most anticipated summer events in the region.
