A new voice for the Elban summer

In the heart of the Island of Elba, perched on the lower slopes of Monte Capanne, the village of San Piero in Campo welcomes its brand-new music festival in 2026: Stravaganti Alterazioni. Part of the "2026 Summer Events – San Piero in Campo" program, the festival is designed to bring original sounds and musical narratives directly among the stone houses and small squares of the village, in the municipality of Campo nell'Elba, in the Province of Livorno.

Concerts spread across the village squares

The festival's strength lies in its widespread nature: each event takes place in a different square of the historic center, transforming the entire village into an open-air stage. Venues range from the cozy Piazza Garibaldi to the scenic Piazza della Chiesa, and the panoramic Piazzale San Niccolò and Circolino del Piazzale Belvedere, which offers views over the Elban countryside. All concerts begin in the evening, when the heat fades and the village atmosphere becomes more evocative.

A program of diverse genres and styles

The common thread of Stravaganti Alterazioni is variety: the festival weaves together singer-songwriter music, classical and opera, indie rock, acoustic ensembles, and choirs. Each evening has its own title and identity, showcasing both local artists and national names, such as the band from the Marche region recently highlighted by Italian music critics as one of the year's emerging acts. A sonic journey that changes color from night to night, always with the same care for storytelling and listening.
