The itinerant singer-songwriter festival arrives in the courtyards of Predazzo, in the Val di Fiemme
Storie di Cortile is an itinerant music festival with free admission that has been enlivening the summer since 2016, bringing concerts to the courtyards, inner courts, and small squares of local towns. Conceived by singer-songwriter and cultural promoter Andrea Parodi and organized by the Pomodori Music Cultural Association, the festival celebrates the vitality of ancient village courtyards—historic theaters of oral tradition and daily life—as a contrast to modern parking-lot squares. In 2026, the festival celebrates its tenth anniversary and, for the first time, expands its map beyond Lombardy, establishing a collaboration with the Predazzo area in the heart of the Trentino Dolomites.
The Dolomite leg takes place on Sunday, July 12, 2026, in Piazzetta Carber, in the center of Predazzo. On stage are the Slide Pistons with the show «Maledetta Balera», a journey through dance rhythms, popular memory, and live music that perfectly matches the festival's intimate and communal spirit. Like all events in the series, the concert is free and begins in the evening, in keeping with the tradition of concerts held in courtyards.
Predazzo is a municipality in the Val di Fiemme, in the Province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), known for its Dolomites, the Geological Museum, and the ski jumping facilities of the Trampolino, an Olympic venue for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Games. The arrival of Storie di Cortile in this alpine setting represents a 2026 novelty and testifies to the festival's dedication to bringing quality live music to places with a strong sense of community, where the square becomes a space for meeting and listening once again.
Over more than a decade of activity, Storie di Cortile has hosted over one hundred and fifty shows, always with free admission, ranging from singer-songwriter music and folk to blues and tributes to great Italian and international artists. The 2026 tenth edition features twenty-two events distributed from June to October across an ever-expanding network of partner municipalities, with the support of Coop Lombardia and Radio Popolare. The Predazzo stop marks the festival's opening toward the mountains of Trentino.
