Free traveling shows for children and families in Felino
Starry Evenings is the summer review dedicated to children and families that takes place in Felino, a municipality in the Province of Parma, in Emilia-Romagna. Promoted by Pro Loco Felino with the patronage of the Municipality of Felino, it is a review of shows designed to entertain the little ones on early summer evenings, when the town empties out from the day's heat and the squares become gathering places again.
The characteristic that makes Starry Evenings special is its traveling nature: the events are not concentrated in one place but move around the town and its hamlets. One evening you might gather at the Amphitheater in via Perlasca, another at the Circolo del Casale, then at the parish church of San Michele Tiorre or in the streets of the center. In this way, every corner of the territory becomes, in turn, a small open-air theater, and every family finds an event close to home.
The program alternates different forms of live performance for young audiences: theater and storytelling, live music with the participation of the Felino Band Group, magic acts, circus, and street arts. The companies and artists involved offer shows suitable for children and families, with a light and engaging tone that invites the little ones to become part of the performance.
All Starry Evenings events are free admission, held outdoors, and take place on weekday evenings from June to July. It is an initiative that well reflects the spirit of the Pro Loco and the small communities of the Parma foothills: community building, focus on families, and enhancement of the town's spaces, from Felino to the hamlets of San Michele Tiorre, Casale, and surrounding areas.
The 2026 edition of Starry Evenings in Felino opens on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 8:45 PM at the Amphitheater in via Perlasca, with an evening of stories, music, and fantasy hosted by Arianna from the Library along with musicians from the Felino Band Group. It is the first of the usual free events of the review, organized by the Pro Loco Felino with the patronage of the Municipality.
The review continues in the following weeks, from June to July, with further traveling shows for children and families distributed between Felino and its hamlets. The complete program with the titles and locations of the other evenings will be published by Pro Loco Felino closer to the events.
The complete program for the other evenings (titles, dates, times, and hamlets) will be published by Pro Loco Felino on its channels closer to the events. Based on previous editions, the review includes a series of free traveling shows (theater, music, magic, and circus) on weekday evenings between June and July, hosted in turn at the Amphitheater in via Perlasca, in the clubs and parish churches of the municipality (including Circolo del Casale and San Michele Tiorre).
The shows take place in Felino (PR) and its hamlets: Amphitheater in via Perlasca, Circolo del Casale, parish church and Circolo of San Michele Tiorre, streets of the center. The location changes for each evening: consult the Pro Loco's updated calendar before each event.
Felino is about 17 km from Parma, reachable by car via the SP665 (Massese) or by intercity bus. The nearest train station is Parma, on the Milan-Bologna line.
All shows are free. Events generally take place in the evening (from 8:45 PM - 9:00 PM) on weekday evenings, from June to July.
