The Spring Porchetta Festival is the event that the Circolo Acli of San Colombano Certenoli, in Val Fontanabuona (Metropolitan City of Genoa), dedicates to Liberation Day. The absolute protagonist is the wood-fired porchetta, served at the food stands along with traditional specialties.
A Community Festival
Like other festivals organized by Circolo Acli, this is also a popular and convivial event: communal tables, good food, dancing evenings, and live music with folk bands. The semi-covered structure allows the festival to be enjoyed even in case of bad weather, typical of the Ligurian spring.
San Colombano Certenoli
San Colombano Certenoli is one of the municipalities in Val Fontanabuona, the slate valley in the hinterland of Genoa. The Circolo Acli festivals, from the spring one to the asado festival, mark the local calendar and tell the authentic identity of this territory.
Porchetta Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, April 25th at the Circolo Acli of San Colombano Certenoli, coinciding with Liberation Day. Food stands open at noon with wood-fired porchetta, and the evening is dedicated to dancing.

How to get there
San Colombano Certenoli can be reached by car from Genoa along the SP225, or from Chiavari and Rapallo heading up into Val Fontanabuona. The Circolo Acli is signposted in the village.
