Over two weeks of events in the historic center of Incisa
The Spring Pardon is one of the most anticipated events of the season in Incisa, a populous district of the municipality of Figline e Incisa Valdarno, in the heart of the Florentine Valdarno, in the province of Florence, Tuscany. For over two weeks, from mid-April to early May, the town's historic center transforms into a vibrant festival space with a packed calendar of initiatives designed to engage families, children, young people, and fans of good food and live music.
Inheriting the tradition of Tuscan spring festivals, the Spring Pardon mixes the most beloved elements of a village fairโthe funfair, the market, and food stallsโwith cultural and sporting proposals that change from year to year. The common thread remains the desire to gather outdoors, rediscovering the squares and streets of Incisa's historic center after the winter. It is a widespread event that unfolds across Via Olimpia, Piazza Auzzi, and the Giardini della Ricciardina, each with its own focus: entertainment, commerce, sports, and nature.
The Spring Pardon is organized by the Pro Loco Aldo Caselli with the patronage of the Municipality of Figline e Incisa Valdarno and the collaboration of numerous local entities, including the Le Botteghe del Petrarca Natural Shopping Center, Confesercenti, the Incisa Red Cross, the local Arci Circle, and the local Civil Protection. This network of associations and volunteers is what makes the festival an authentic event, deeply rooted in the Incisa community.
Admission to all initiatives is free: simply head to the historic center of Incisa to immerse yourself in the spring atmosphere of the Florentine Valdarno.
The 2026 edition of the Spring Pardon, the sixth of the event, took place in Incisa from April 17 to May 3. The program spanned two weekends and the public holidays of late April and May 1st, with the Via Olimpia funfair open throughout, the Spring Market in Piazza Auzzi, street food, live concerts by local bands, and entertainment for children. The collaborative formula curated by the Pro Loco Aldo Caselli together with local associations was confirmed.
Incisa is located along the Arno valley, about 25 km southeast of Florence. By car, it can be reached via the A1 motorway, Incisa-Reggello exit. By train, the Figline-Incisa station is served by the Florence-Arezzo regional line.
The events are held in the historic center of Incisa, specifically on Via Olimpia (funfair, street food, and shows), in Piazza Auzzi (Spring Market), and at the Giardini della Ricciardina (sports activities).
Admission is free. Food and drinks at the stalls and funfair attractions are paid.
