About Mori Spring Festival

The Spring Festival is one of the oldest and most beloved events in the Vallagarina valley, bringing the historic center of Mori to life every April. For an entire day, the town's streets and squares are filled with traditional market stalls, volunteer stands, children's workshops, entertainment, historical re-enactments, and local culinary delights. It is a celebration of tradition and community that marks the arrival of the warmer season in the Lower Vallagarina, at the foot of Monte Baldo and just a stone's throw from the Trentino side of Lake Garda.

A spring tradition in the heart of Mori

The Spring Festival is one of the most deep-rooted and popular events in the calendar of the Municipality of Mori, in the province of Trento, in the Trentino-Alto Adige Region. Considered one of the oldest events in the Vallagarina valley, it transforms the town's historic center every April into a grand festival space, enlivening the streets and squares for an entire day with stalls, music, entertainment, and local flavors.

A historic center to be experienced

The streets of Mori fill with over one hundred and fifty stalls, including a traditional spring market, hobbyists, artisans, and local business stands, offering regional products and handcrafted goods. There is no shortage of volunteer stands and local associations, which make the festival a true moment of community. The event is organized by the Trade and Tourism Union of Rovereto and Vallagarina with the support of the Municipality of Mori.

Entertainment, games, and families

The Spring Festival is designed for all ages. In Piazza Cal di Ponte, the Mori Volunteer Fire Department sets up "Pompieropoli," an educational play area that introduces children to the world of firefighters, accompanied by creative workshops and traditional games. Among the offerings for families, the "magic walk" stands out—a treasure hunt for three wizards along a route full of surprises designed for children.

Music, dance, and historical re-enactments

The day is punctuated by music and dance: a dedicated area hosts group dances, Zumba, bachata, and continuous entertainment from morning until evening. In Piazza Cesare Battisti, the Porten's Sons perform, while the "Arco Asburgica" group offers historical re-enactments in Austro-Hungarian period costumes, with 19th-century dances and attire that tell the story of the Trentino region's Habsburg history. To close the festival in the evening, the Mori-Brentonico Social Band parades through the streets of the center.

The path of taste

The food and wine component is not to be missed: Via Gustavo Modena transforms into the "path of taste," with culinary offerings curated by local associations and regional operators, allowing visitors to savor the typical flavors of the Vallagarina in a festive atmosphere. The event is free and open to the public.

A territory to discover

Mori is located in the Lower Vallagarina, in a strategic position between Rovereto, Monte Baldo, and the Trentino side of Lake Garda. The Spring Festival is the ideal opportunity to discover the town and its surroundings right at the beginning of the beautiful season, combining tradition, local commerce, culture, and tourism.
