About Sport a Confine
The sport that unites two municipalities
Sport a Confine is the project that brings together the municipalities of Chiuppano and Carrè, in Alto Vicentino (province of Vicenza), to celebrate sport as a moment for the community. The event, whose name plays on the borders between the two neighboring towns, offers tournaments, races, and activities open to all ages.
BASKARRE' and the cycling race
The heart of the festival is BASKARRE', the men's and women's 3x3 basketball tournament with an over-40 category, alongside the 4-on-4 street basketball competition. Completing the sports program is the cycling race 1st Trofeo L'Isola che c'è, which winds along the routes of the Bregonze hills.
Activities for everyone
In addition to the competitions, Sport a Confine offers numerous wellness and movement activities accessible to all: yoga, pilates, parkour, ju-jitsu, gymnastics, as well as a memorial football tournament and recognition moments for local athletes. An initiative that promotes outdoor physical activity and the trails of the Bregonze hills within the framework of "Active Communities".
Sport a Confine — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Sport a Confine takes place in June between Chiuppano and Carrè, featuring the BASKARRE' tournament, the cycling race on the Bregonze hills, and many movement activities for the whole community.
