About Marostica Antiquaria
A Historic Market in the Walled Village
Marostica Antiquaria is the antiques and collectibles market that has enlivened the historic centre of Marostica (province of Vicenza, Veneto) since 1988. The event takes place in the picturesque Piazza Castello and Piazza degli Scacchi, transforming the heart of the village into a large open-air emporium.
A Thousand Treasures Among the Stalls
Exhibitors offer antique furniture, jewellery, ceramics, vintage clothing, books, records, stamps (philately), and coins (numismatics), as well as prints, decorative objects, and curiosities of all kinds. It is an event loved by both expert collectors and casual browsers looking for a special piece or a memento from the past.
A Monthly Event
Organised by the Cultural Association Il Tritone, the market is held on the first Sunday of each month, with the sole exception of August, from morning to evening. The setting of the walled village and the famous chessboard make strolling among the stalls a unique experience.
Marostica Antiquaria — edition 2026
In 2026, the Marostica Antiquaria market will again be held on the first Sunday of each month, with the exception of August, in Piazza Castello and Piazza degli Scacchi. The exhibitors—around 150 at each event—will offer antique furniture, jewellery, ceramics, vintage clothing, books, records, philately, and numismatics, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The event, organised by the Cultural Association Il Tritone, is one of the regular fixtures of Marostica's historic centre and a usual destination for collectors and enthusiasts from all over the Veneto.

How to Get There
Marostica is reachable by car from the A31 motorway (exit Dueville or Thiene-Schio) towards Bassano del Grappa. The nearest train station is Bassano del Grappa (about 8 km away). The market takes place in Piazza Castello and Piazza degli Scacchi, in the pedestrianised historic centre.
