Autumn Jazz in Spoleto
Spoleto Jazz is the festival that every autumn brings international jazz to the historic theatres of Spoleto, in the province of Perugia. Organized by the association Visioninmusica, with the support of the Municipality, the season takes place between October and November in the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti and the Teatro Caio Melisso - Spazio Carla Fendi.
A World-Class Programme
Spoleto Jazz has become known for its ability to attract prominent international artists to the Umbrian city, with a lineup that blends jazz, soul, funk, R&B, and Latin influences. Alongside big names, there is space for emerging young talents, in a balance that has become the hallmark of the festival.
In the City's Theatres
The concerts are held in two of Spoleto's most beloved venues: the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti, also a hub for the renowned Festival dei Due Mondi, and the intimate Teatro Caio Melisso. The intimate atmosphere of the halls and the beauty of the historic centre make every evening an experience that goes beyond a simple concert.

The festival is curated by Visioninmusica, an association based in Terni active in promoting author music, which has made Spoleto Jazz one of the most anticipated autumn events in Umbria's music calendar.
Spoleto Jazz — edition 2026
The 2026 Edition
Spoleto Jazz 2026, organized by Visioninmusica, opens on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti with a concert by Judith Hill, voice, guitar, and piano, a soul icon who blends gospel, rock, funk, and jazz into her personal style. She will be accompanied on stage by Robert "Pee Wee" Hill on bass, Michiko Hill on keyboards and synths, and Shadrack Oppong on drums.
The season will continue with other concerts between October and November, hosted at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti and the Teatro Caio Melisso - Spazio Carla Fendi. The full program is being finalized and will be announced on the official Visioninmusica channels.

How to get there
Spoleto is on the Rome-Ancona railway line; from the station, the centre is reachable by mechanical walkways. By car: exit Spoleto from the SS3 Flaminia.
