Strumenti & Musica Festival is the international music review that, with its main base in Spoleto, spreads throughout Umbria. The Strumenti & Musica Festival is one of Umbria's most important music reviews, particularly dedicated to concert accordion and chamber music. With its main base in Spoleto, the festival is divided into several stages throughout the region, touching cities such as Foligno (province of Perugia) and Terni.

The Foligno stop

In Foligno, the festival chooses a place of great charm, the Museo Oratorio del Crocifisso, inside Palazzo Brunetti Candiotti, in Largo Federico Frezzi. Here, a chamber music concert for accordion and violin is staged, with international performers and a program spanning musical centuries and geographies, from Vivaldi to Piazzolla.

Strumenti & Musica — edition 2026

The Foligno stop of the 15th edition of Strumenti & Musica Festival is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2026, at 9:00 PM, at the Museo Oratorio del Crocifisso. Starring Serbian accordionist Momir Novakovic and Estonian violinist Mari Poll, with music by Pärt, Vivaldi, Bartók, Piazzolla, and De Sarasate. Free admission.

As part of the 15th edition of Strumenti & Musica Festival, the Foligno stop is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2026, at 9:00 PM at the Museo Oratorio del Crocifisso.

The duo formed by Serbian accordionist Momir Novakovic and Estonian violinist Mari Poll will perform, with a program spanning Arvo Pärt, Antonio Vivaldi, Mikołaj Majkusiak, Béla Bartók, Astor Piazzolla, and Pablo de Sarasate. The concert is free admission and open to all citizens.
