Capodanno al Centro del Mondo is the end-of-year celebration in Foligno, in the Province of Perugia, held in Piazza della Repubblica. The name plays on an ancient tradition: since the Middle Ages, Foligno has been jokingly referred to as the "center of the world," an identity the city proudly claims and which gives its New Year's Eve party its title.

How to Get There
Foligno is a railway hub on the Rome-Ancona and Rome-Florence lines, convenient even for those arriving from outside the region, and can be reached by car from the SS3 Flaminia. Piazza della Repubblica is in the heart of the historic center.
