The SNIM – Puglia Boat Show is the most important trade fair dedicated to the pleasure boating industry in Southern Italy and one of the most significant sector events at both a national and international level. It is held every autumn in Brindisi, the capital of the eponymous Apulian province, within the Marina di Brindisi tourist port on Via Dardanelli. It is the moment when the Adriatic port transforms into a floating showcase of Italian shipbuilding, with boats displayed both in the water and on the surrounding quays.

The exhibition area brings together hundreds of vessels, from small dinghies and inflatables to traditional gozzi, sailboats, and luxurious motor yachts. Over the years, SNIM has taken on a strategic role for the entire nautical sector in Southern Italy, with the collaboration of institutional partners such as the Apulia Region, the Province and Municipality of Brindisi, the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), and Confindustria Nautica. Pleasure boating represents a multi-billion euro sector in Italy, and Southern Italy is identified as a strategic area for tourism and nautical port infrastructure. Protocols, agreements, and projects focusing on foreign markets and local job growth are developed around the show.

Hosting the show in Brindisi is no coincidence: the Apulian city, overlooking the Adriatic and a historic port connecting to the East, offers an ideal setting for an event dedicated to the sea.
