The historic center turns into an open-air stage to wrap up the Estate Setina
The Sezze White Night is the annual event that, on the last weekend of August, concludes the rich calendar of the Estate Setina. For one full evening, the historic center of this Lepini village in the province of Latina transforms into a grand open-air stage: live music, shows, art, entertainment, and local flavors enliven the squares and alleys until late at night, with shops and restaurants staying open to welcome the public.
The event follows a 'diffused' festival format: recent editions featured eight different stations across the town's streets and squares, each with its own program. Music, the true thread of the evening, resonates with local and guest bands in iconic spots such as:
Among the most appreciated novelties of the 2025 edition was the White Night of Sport, hosted in the renovated Parco della Macchia: an area entirely dedicated to sports activities, with free trials and live demonstrations led by local clubs—from Zumba to cycling, athletics to soccer, boxing to basketball and volleyball. The initiative also saw the participation of special guests from the world of athletics, confirming how sport is experienced in Sezze as a tool for community aggregation and growth.
Ample space is reserved for the little ones: Piazza San Lorenzo and Via San Carlo become a kingdom for families, with theater, entertainment, shows, and street artists curated by the Associazione La Macchia and the Puntini Fest, the Sezze festival dedicated to childhood. It is one of the hallmarks of the event: a celebration truly designed for all ages.
The White Night is also an opportunity to discover the food and wine of the Lepini Mountains: food stalls, local businesses, and restaurants in the center remain open throughout the evening with local specialties. The village, famous for its artichoke and the spring Artichoke Festival, shows its best side even in its nocturnal and summer version.
The event is promoted by the Municipality of Sezze with the involvement of associations, cultural operators, volunteers, and local businesses, as part of an Estate Setina that counts over forty events from June to September. For the Lazio Region and the Pontine territory, it is one of the most heartfelt end-of-summer appointments: a showcase for Sezze and a moment of social connection that attracts visitors from across the province of Latina.
The 2026 edition of the Sezze White Night will take place on Saturday, August 29, as officially announced by the Municipality of Sezze during the presentation of the Estate Setina 2026. Once again this year, the event is set to transform the historic center into a grand open-air stage, with events spread across the squares, alleys, and iconic spots of the Lepini village.
Following the success of previous editions, live music at multiple stations, shows and street artists, spaces dedicated to children and families, sports initiatives, and food stalls are expected, with local businesses staying open until late at night. The detailed program will be published by the Municipality in the weeks leading up to the event.
By car: Sezze can be reached via the SS156 dei Monti Lepini (take the exits for Sezze), about 80 km from Rome and 15 km from Latina. During the White Night, the historic center is pedestrianized: it is advisable to arrive early and park in the areas on the outskirts of the center.
By train: the Sezze Romano station, on the Rome–Naples line via Formia, is about 10 km from the historic center; from there, continue by local bus or taxi.
Free admission. The festival kicks off in the late afternoon and continues until late at night; shops and restaurants in the center remain open.
The historic center is perched on a hill and is full of slopes and staircases: comfortable shoes are recommended. For information: Municipality of Sezze, tel. +39 0773 804584.
