About Sezze White Night

At the end of August, the Sezze White Night brings the Estate Setina to a spectacular close. The hilltop village in the province of Latina comes alive until late at night with live music across multiple squares, performances, street artists, children's entertainment, and food stalls. Recent editions have introduced the 'Night of Sport' at Parco della Macchia, featuring free trials with local sports clubs. It is a massive community celebration with free admission that fills the alleys and squares of the historic center.

A night of celebration in the heart of the Lepini Mountains

The Sezze White Night is the annual event that, on the last weekend of August, concludes the rich calendar of the Estate Setina. For one full evening, the historic center of this Lepini village in the province of Latina transforms into a grand open-air stage: live music, shows, art, entertainment, and local flavors enliven the squares and alleys until late at night, with shops and restaurants staying open to welcome the public.

Eight locations throughout the historic center

The event follows a 'diffused' festival format: recent editions featured eight different stations across the town's streets and squares, each with its own program. Music, the true thread of the evening, resonates with local and guest bands in iconic spots such as:

  • Piazza dei Leoni, the living room of the historic center;
  • Piazza Ferro di Cavallo;
  • Porta Pascibella, one of the ancient city gates;
  • the Centro Sociale Calabresi;
  • Piazza San Lorenzo and Via San Carlo, dedicated to families;
  • the Parco della Macchia, the heart of the Night of Sport.

The Night of Sport

Among the most appreciated novelties of the 2025 edition was the White Night of Sport, hosted in the renovated Parco della Macchia: an area entirely dedicated to sports activities, with free trials and live demonstrations led by local clubs—from Zumba to cycling, athletics to soccer, boxing to basketball and volleyball. The initiative also saw the participation of special guests from the world of athletics, confirming how sport is experienced in Sezze as a tool for community aggregation and growth.

Children and families as protagonists

Ample space is reserved for the little ones: Piazza San Lorenzo and Via San Carlo become a kingdom for families, with theater, entertainment, shows, and street artists curated by the Associazione La Macchia and the Puntini Fest, the Sezze festival dedicated to childhood. It is one of the hallmarks of the event: a celebration truly designed for all ages.

Sezze flavors and hospitality

The White Night is also an opportunity to discover the food and wine of the Lepini Mountains: food stalls, local businesses, and restaurants in the center remain open throughout the evening with local specialties. The village, famous for its artichoke and the spring Artichoke Festival, shows its best side even in its nocturnal and summer version.

A city-led celebration

The event is promoted by the Municipality of Sezze with the involvement of associations, cultural operators, volunteers, and local businesses, as part of an Estate Setina that counts over forty events from June to September. For the Lazio Region and the Pontine territory, it is one of the most heartfelt end-of-summer appointments: a showcase for Sezze and a moment of social connection that attracts visitors from across the province of Latina.
