Two days of yoga, meditation, and wellness in the lush Parco dell'Oliveta
The Sesto Fiorentino Yoga Festival is a dedicated wellness and personal growth event that brings the Parco dell'Olivetaโthe green lung of Sesto Fiorentino, in the province of Florenceโto life for an entire weekend. The festival offers two days of practice, meetings, and shared moments designed to help you reconnect with yourself and nature in a relaxed, accessible setting.
The heart of the festival is a rich program of yoga classes in various styles: Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Prenatal, and even Laughter Yoga. Beyond the mat, the park comes alive with activities ranging from guided meditation and pranayama to Qi Gong, Tai Chi, family constellations, Reiki, and channeling. Don't miss the most evocative moments, such as sound baths with Tibetan singing bowls and gongs, and Kirtan, the devotional chanting that closes each day with music.
In addition to practical sessions, the festival hosts talks, book presentations, readings, and a series of holistic treatment stands where you can experience massages, relaxation techniques, and wellness disciplines. Activities take place across several areas of the parkโthe Yoga Area and the Sessions Areaโwith a packed schedule that allows you to alternate between practice, listening, and discovery throughout the day.
Admission to the festival is free, and no booking is required: simply bring your mat and a desire to participate. The setting of Parco dell'Oliveta, with its lawns and olive trees, offers an ideal backdrop for outdoor yoga just a few kilometers from the center of Florence. The event is organized with the support of the association that manages the park and has become a key reference point for the Tuscan wellness community.
The 2026 edition offered a rich schedule across two areas of the park, with classes and meetings every half hour from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Between Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, active meditations, Qi Gong, Reiki, talks, and book presentations, the festival provided a complete wellness experience, closing both days with sound and devotional moments featuring singing bowls, gongs, and Kirtan.
The full program also included numerous talks, readings, and sessions in the Sessions Area throughout both days.
The festival takes place at Parco dell'Oliveta, on Viale della Repubblica in Sesto Fiorentino (FI), from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on both days.
Sesto Fiorentino is easily accessible from Florence by car (take the Firenze Nord exit on the A1 and A11 motorways) and by public transport, thanks to the tram line and local train and bus connections. Parking areas are available inside and near the park.
Admission is free, and no reservation is required. We recommend bringing your own yoga mat and comfortable clothing.
