International electronic music at the foot of the Doric Temple
The Segesta Music Experience is one of the most original events on the Sicilian festival circuit: a night of electronic music held within the Archaeological Park of Segesta, in the territory of Calatafimi-Segesta, in the province of Trapani. The setting is extraordinary: the Doric Temple, built around 420 BC with its thirty-six columns standing nearly ten meters high, serves as the backdrop for a line-up of international clubbing artists.
The festival was born with the clear goal of connecting new generations with cultural heritage through the universal language of music. The night is not just a concert, but a journey that weaves together archaeology, landscape, light, and sound. Visual installations, light design synchronized with the music, and chill-out areas create an immersive experience that goes far beyond a simple DJ set.
The Archaeological Park of Segesta is located in the Trapani hinterland, easily accessible from the A29 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo motorway. The event is held under the patronage of the Municipality of Calatafimi-Segesta and has become a highly anticipated date in the Western Sicilian summer season, attracting a crowd from across the island and abroad.
For its third edition, the Segesta Music Experience returns to the Doric Temple of Segesta on Saturday, June 27, 2026, with ten hours of music from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The 2026 line-up focuses on two major names of the European electronic scene and a roster of emerging and established selectors.
The evening opens at 7:00 PM with a cultural talk and a book presentation, before the dancefloor at the foot of the Doric columns comes to life until dawn.
The two international headliners Ellen Allien and Anthony Rother (in Hybrid format), together with wine tastings inside the Doric Temple and a dancefloor that lasts from sunset to sunrise at the foot of the 5th-century BC columns.
By car: A29 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo motorway, Segesta exit. By train: Segesta-Tempio station on the Palermo-Trapani line. The nearest airport is Trapani-Birgi, followed by Palermo-Punta Raisi.
Tickets are available online via the Notlife platform. Advance booking is recommended.
The event takes place in an open-air archaeological site and lasts all night: bring a sweater for the cooler hours and comfortable shoes. Food and bar areas are available inside the village.
