A festival dedicated to the sea in the heart of Scandicci

The Scandicci Fish Festival makes its debut in 2026 with its first edition, bringing seafood specialties to the evocative setting of the Castello dell'Acciaiolo, located on Via Pantin in Scandicci, just outside Florence. For four consecutive evenings, from June 11th to 14th, the historic village transforms into a large seafood street food hub, with active kitchens and open-air seating in one of the town's most beloved spots.

The initiative is organized by Gnam Food Event, a company specializing in street food festivals, and is part of the summer event calendar in the Florence area, offering a delicious and informal alternative for those looking for an evening of good food, music, and a convivial atmosphere.

Freshly prepared seafood flavors

The heart of the event is the freshly prepared seafood cuisine, designed to satisfy every palate. The announced menu includes both classics and new creations:

• Seafood salad and fish appetizers
• Seafood tagliolini pasta
• Grilled fish and charcoal-grilled seafood
• Paella
• Mixed fried fish, fried calamari and shrimp, fried salt cod (baccalà)
• The signature seafood fried pizza, available in various Neapolitan-inspired versions

The gastronomic offer is completed by desserts, draft beer, sangria, wines, prosecco, and cocktails to enjoy throughout the evening.

Music, DJ sets, and space for the little ones

The Scandicci Fish Festival is not just about good food: every evening the program includes live music and DJ sets, while children have access to activities and dedicated entertainment, making the event suitable for the whole family. The large dining area at the Castello dell'Acciaiolo allows guests to sit back and enjoy dinner outdoors during one of the most pleasant seasons for open-air events.
