A festival that tells the story of the Sala hamlet

A few kilometers from the Cesenatico seafront, nestled in the Romagnola countryside of the Forlì-Cesena province, the hamlet of Sala celebrates with Sapore di Sala. This event was born from the enthusiasm of the Pro Loco Sala di Cesenatico APS, the association that has recently revitalized this corner of the territory, known for its farms, artisan shops, and renowned restaurants. The idea is simple and genuine: to bring residents and visitors together around good food, music, and three evenings of joy.

The gastronomic heart

The common thread is traditional Romagnola cuisine, served at the gastronomic stand that welcomes everyone every evening from 7 PM, for those who want to taste local dishes in a genuine and familiar atmosphere. Alongside home-style flavors, the festival offers an international surprise: a special evening dedicated to paella, also available for takeaway upon reservation. It's the perfect way to accompany the early summer evenings with a convivial and fragrant dish.

Music, street, and beer

Each evening has its own soul. It starts with a musical tribute to the great hits that have made entire generations dance; it continues with "Sala si fa strada" (Sala makes its way), the evening dedicated to street artists who transform the hamlet's squares and spaces into a widespread stage; it concludes with an engaging Beer Festival animated by a band competition, where local groups compete for the audience's favor amidst steins and good live music.

The village spirit

Sapore di Sala is, above all, a popular festival, the kind that marks the beginning of the good season in Cesenatico and throughout Romagna. No big stages or famous names: here, authenticity, hospitality, and the desire to be together are what matter. It's the ideal opportunity to discover a hamlet often overlooked by the Riviera's tourist circuits and to experience authentic Romagna, the one of the countryside and of the Pro Loco associations that preserve traditions and social life.

Where and when

The festival takes place in the area of the Sala Primary School parking lot, at Via Canale Bonificazione 512, and in the nearby sports field, in the Municipality of Cesenatico (province of Forlì-Cesena). Stands and attractions are active every evening from 7 PM. Entry to the festival is free: you only pay for what you consume at the gastronomic stand and the beer festival.
