About San Osvaldo March

In San Martino al Tagliamento, in the province of Pordenone, the Marcia di San Osvaldo is the classic non-competitive spring walk organized by the Gruppo Marciatori Primavera. A FIASP free-pace running event, with three routes of 6, 12, and 18 km through the landscapes of Western Friuli, open to all.

Walking in Western Friuli

The Marcia di San Osvaldo is one of the best-known non-competitive marches in the Pordenone plain. It takes place in San Martino al Tagliamento, a municipality in Western Friuli overlooking the great Tagliamento river, and is organized by the Gruppo Marciatori Primavera, a local group that has been promoting walking as a sport and social activity for years.

A March for Everyone

It is a free-pace running event, open to all who register regularly: not a race, but a walk to be enjoyed at your own pace, in company, immersed in nature. It is part of the FIASP (Italian Federation of Amateurs Sports for All) circuit, a guarantee of proven organization and a friendly atmosphere.

Three Routes Through Nature and Landscape

Participants can choose from three routes of different lengths, 6, 12, and 18 kilometers, suitable for all fitness levels. The routes cross the countryside and landscapes of Western Friuli, through the panoramas of the Tagliamento plain, offering families, walkers, and athletes an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and discover the area.

FIASP Spirit and Conviviality

Like all FIASP marches, the Marcia di San Osvaldo combines sport and socialising: refreshment points along the route, awards for the largest groups, and the festive atmosphere that accompanies the start and finish. A regular event on the Friulian spring running calendar, simple and genuine, to be enjoyed by walking.
