The festival of Castello di Aviano

In the hamlet of Castello di Aviano, at the foot of Piancavallo, between the end of June and the beginning of July, the Sagra di Castello returns, the village festival organized by the Associazione Pro Castello di Aviano. Set near the parish church, it is one of the most cherished summer events by the local community, capable of attracting visitors from all over the Pordenone area.

Taste and conviviality

The heart of the festival are the food and wine stalls, well-stocked with traditional specialties and dishes, accompanied by local wines. The festival, which takes place over two weekends, is an opportunity to gather around the table with friends, enjoying genuine flavors and the typical atmosphere of Friulian village festivals.

Sport and music

Alongside gastronomy, the program offers the beach volleyball tournament, highly anticipated by younger people, and many evenings of live music: over the years, the Musicanti di Giais, the Night & Swing Quartet, Lucio e i Robusti, the Ondacustica, the Sclopit Band, and other local groups have performed, with a lineup alternating between ballroom, swing, and Friulian music.
