Three weeks of celebration in the hamlet of Sant'Antonio, with concerts, dancing, and gastronomy
The Sagra di Sant'Antonio is the big summer event of the hamlet of Sant'Antonio, in the Municipality of Porcia, in the province of Pordenone. For three weeks, between late May and mid-June, the festival area comes alive every evening with music, dancing, the aroma of grilled food, and the voices of a community gathering around its own festival.
It's one of those festivals where the religious dimension – the celebrations for Sant'Antonio da Padova, the patron saint celebrated on June 13th – and the more popular and festive side, made up of concerts, dancing evenings, and long tables under the pavilion, naturally coexist.
The program alternates between cover bands and tribute concerts, much loved by younger audiences, and classic dancing evenings with Friulian 'liscio' orchestras. It ranges from tributes to Max Pezzali, Vasco Rossi, and Italian music to evenings with big dance orchestras, in a schedule designed for all ages.
The food and wine stalls open every evening from 7:00 PM and offer traditional specialties cooked on the grill: mixed grills, steaks, and typical Friulian dishes, accompanied by local wines. There's also a charity raffle, a funfair, and a lottery, the proceeds of which support local initiatives and school facilities.
The hamlet of Sant'Antonio is part of the territory of Porcia, a lively town on the outskirts of Pordenone with its castle and historic village. The festival, organized by local committee volunteers in collaboration with UNPLI Friuli Venezia Giulia, is the best way to experience the authenticity of a Friulian village festival, where conviviality is at home.
The 2026 edition of the Sagra di Sant'Antonio takes place from May 28th to June 14th, spread over three weekends. It opens on Thursday, May 28th at 7:00 PM, with the inauguration of the food and wine stalls and the charity raffle. From then until June 14th, every evening features live music, dancing, and grilled specialties.
The central moment remains June 13th, the feast day of Sant'Antonio da Padova, with Holy Masses and a dancing evening. The funfair, lottery, and the use of eco-compatible tableware are also confirmed.
Food and wine stalls open every evening from 7:00 PM.
The evening program may be subject to change.
