For the 2026 edition, Brallo di Pregola renews its autumn festival. In Piazza del Municipio, there will again be roasted chestnuts with mulled wine, homemade bread baked in wood-fired ovens, the traditional lunch under the Alpini Group's marquee with polenta, lentils, and cooked salami, and desserts from the Pro Loco. The day will be enlivened by folk music and a walk through the ancient chestnut trees in their autumn foliage. The detailed program will be published by the Pro Loco in the weeks preceding the event.

The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be announced by the Pro Loco of Brallo di Pregola. Based on the established format, the day will include:

• From 10 AM, opening in Piazza del Municipio
• Roasted chestnuts served hot with mulled wine or hot chocolate
• Homemade bread baked in the wood-fired ovens of the hamlets
• Traditional lunch under the Alpini Group's marquee: polenta, lentils, and cooked salami
• Typical desserts from the Pro Loco: chestnut cakes and rustic biscuits
• Stalls featuring local crafts and products (oil, cheeses)
• Walk through the ancient chestnut trees in autumn foliage
• Folk music throughout the day

The third Sunday of October. The 2025 edition was held on Sunday, October 19, from 10 AM; the 2026 edition is expected on the third Sunday of October, with the date to be confirmed.

How to get there

Brallo di Pregola can be reached by car by going up the Staffora Valley from Voghera beyond Varzi, up to the Brallo pass. The reference station is Voghera, on the Milan–Genoa line.
