The Rosolini Carnival

The Rosolini Carnival is one of the most anticipated winter events in the Municipality of Rosolini, located in the Province of Syracuse at the south-eastern tip of Sicily. Known as the "City of the Carob Tree," Rosolini transforms into an open-air stage during these days, where the streets and squares of the center fill with color, music, and masks. The event is organized by the municipal administration and involves the entire citizenry, from schools to local associations.

Allegorical float parades

The heart of the festival is the parade of allegorical floats, the result of weeks of artisanal work, accompanied by masked groups in costume who animate the route with dances, choreography, and music. Amidst confetti and streamers, the floats travel through the town center, offering both adults and children a day of pure joy. Numerous local entities participate in the preparations, including the city's schools, which have taken part in the parades organized by the Municipality for years.
