The evening race along the Roseto degli Abruzzi seafront
The Roseto Endu Run is a running event held on the seafront of Roseto degli Abruzzi, one of the most popular seaside resorts in the province of Teramo, Abruzzo. Established in 2025, the race is known for its evening atmosphere: the main event starts after the sun has set over the Adriatic, offering participants a cool and scenic backdrop along the Roseto coastline.
The event is conceived and organized by A.S.D. Roseto Endurance, a young local sports club that has quickly made a name for itself in the Abruzzo running scene. The organizers' formula aims to blend competitive spirit with a popular, social atmosphere, engaging experienced runners, walkers, families, and casual participants alike.
The Roseto Endu Run offers several formats to suit every type of participant. Alongside the 10 km competitive race, which is part of local running circuits, there are also 5 km and 10 km non-competitive routes, open to those who want to enjoy the evening through movement and wellness without the pressure of a stopwatch. The course, almost entirely flat and paved, winds along the seafront, providing an ideal setting for both those chasing a personal best and those running for fun.
Great attention is also paid to younger participants: with the Mini Endu Run, the event features specific races for children and teenagers under 16, involving new generations and local families.
The Roseto Endu Run is designed as a true sports festival. After the races, the seafront comes alive with music, entertainment, and food stalls serving the essential arrosticini and beer, creating a convivial atmosphere that brings together athletes, supporters, residents, and tourists vacationing on the Teramo coast.
Included in the municipal summer events calendar, the festival helps promote Roseto degli Abruzzi as a destination that perfectly combines the sea, sports, and hospitality in the heart of the Abruzzo summer.
Located along the Adriatic coast in the province of Teramo, Roseto degli Abruzzi is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Abruzzo, famous for its long beaches and the greenery that earned it the nickname "Lido delle Rose" (Beach of Roses). The Roseto Endu Run finds its natural setting here, ideally kicking off the city's summer sports season.
The second edition of the Roseto Endu Run was held on Friday, June 5, 2026, on the northern seafront of Roseto degli Abruzzi, in the Viale Makarska park area, at Summer Ciuffy. The youth races of the Mini Endu Run started at 6:00 PM, while the start for the adult races was set for 8:30 PM. The program featured the 10 km competitive race and the 5 km and 10 km non-competitive routes, open to runners and walkers.
Among the novelties of the 2026 edition, in addition to the new seafront venue, was the debut of the Mini Endu Run for children and teenagers under 16, and the partnership with Summer Ciuffy for the refreshment and entertainment area. After the races, there was music, food stalls, arrosticini, and beer, for a festive evening open to locals and tourists.
The Roseto Endu Run is held on the northern seafront of Roseto degli Abruzzi (TE), in the area of the Viale Makarska park. In previous editions, the meeting point was in the Lido Celommi area.
Roseto degli Abruzzi is served by the Roseto degli Abruzzi motorway exit on the A14 and by its own railway station on the Adriatic line. The seafront is within walking distance of the town center.
Registration for the competitive race is done online, while for the non-competitive runs, it is also possible to register on-site. For the program, fees, and updated details, please refer to the website of the organizer, A.S.D. Roseto Endurance.
