A thousand musicians on a single stage at the Allianz Stadium in Turin
The most famous Italian musical phenomenon in the world makes its first stop in the Piedmontese capital: on Saturday, May 30, 2026, the Allianz Stadium in Turin hosts Rockin'1000, the ensemble that gathers a thousand musicians on the same stage to play the great rock classics in unison. It is the only Italian date of 2026 and marks the show's debut in the city of the Mole, in the heart of the Municipality of Turin and the Piedmont Region.
What has been dubbed "the world's largest rock band" was born in 2015 in Cesena, when a thousand enthusiasts gathered at the Parco Ippodromo to perform Foo Fighters' Learn to Fly in unison to convince the American band to play in their city. The video went viral across the globe, and since then, Rockin'1000 has performed in Florence, Paris, Frankfurt, and Milan, becoming a unique participatory event of its kind.
The Turin stage will feature 200 singers, 350 guitarists, 200 bassists, 200 drummers, 60 keyboardists, and 40 brass players, all synchronized under the musical direction of Daniel Plentz and Rodrigo D'Erasmo. It is not just for professionals: anyone, from beginners to expert musicians, can apply to be part of the ensemble after the collective rehearsals scheduled for May 28 and 29.
Enriching the evening will be Elio e le Storie Tese, a historic Italian band, and a performance by the rapper Nitro. Hosting duties are entrusted to Lodovica Comello, while the pre-show will feature a DJ set and a performance by musician and communicator Pietro Morello. The show features about twenty iconic world rock songs, from Bohemian Rhapsody to Live and Let Die, up to Knights of Cydonia, performed by the massive rock orchestra.
More than just a concert, Rockin'1000 is a collective and emotional experience that brings the energy of a choir of a thousand voices and instruments to the stadium in the Province of Turin. For the city, it is an opportunity to welcome an international format that has already made crowds dream all over Europe, in a spectacular setting like the Allianz Stadium.
