The Rock'n'Roll Party in Avetrana

The Rock'n'Roll Party is widely considered the largest gathering in Southern Italy dedicated to the culture and aesthetic of the 1950s and 60s. Born in the summer of 2006 in Erchie, the event has grown year after year, finding its natural home in the enchanting Masseria Strazzati, a 14th-century former monastery nestled in the countryside of Avetrana, in the heart of the province of Taranto, Puglia.

An open-air stage

For one night, the masseria transforms into a living set: the garden becomes the ritual square, the woods a hidden stage, and the stone balconies windows for artistic appearances. It is not just a concert, but an immersive experience designed to surprise the audience at every turn, amidst natural stone, trees, and lights.

Music and entertainment

The program revolves around live rock'n'roll and rockabilly music, with bands, DJ sets, and wild dancing that keeps the night alive until the early hours. Alongside the music, numerous attractions recreate the vintage atmosphere:

• Burlesque shows and 1950s-style pin-up dancers;
• Classic American cars on display;
• Barber shows and themed tattoo stations;
• Vintage market featuring clothing, records, and retro objects;
• Street food area with local delicacies and street cuisine.

Over the years, the Rock'n'Roll Party has become one of the most anticipated summer events in the Municipality of Avetrana and the entire Taranto area, capable of attracting thousands of participants from all over Puglia and other Italian regions.
