A traveling choral festival between music and nature in the parks of Albinea
Risonanze Corali is a traveling choral review that takes place in Albinea, a Municipality in the Province of Reggio Emilia, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. The idea behind the event is simple and evocative: to transform the town's parks into open-air stages and accompany the public, from stop to stop, through a route that combines choral music with the discovery of the territory.
The meeting point is at the Parco dei Frassini "Margherita Hack", the green space overlooking the Pablo Neruda Municipal Library in via Morandi. Here, choirs, the public, and authorities kick off the event. From there, a journey between choral art and nature takes shape: visitors walk through the parks of Albinea, described as authentic open-air green monuments, in an experience that combines culture, sociality, and attention to the landscape.
The four participating choirs are located in as many points of particular scenic and cultural interest in the Municipality, ready to welcome attendees with a cappella performances. Each ensemble offers a different repertoire, so that moving from one park to another also becomes a journey through different styles and sounds.
The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Albinea and is part of the lively season of cultural initiatives that animate the Municipality in the warmer months, when the parks become a meeting place for the community. The traveling, free, and open-air format makes Risonanze Corali suitable for everyone: families, walkers, and choral singing enthusiasts can follow the route at their own pace, letting themselves be guided by the voices echoing among the trees.
For those visiting the Reggio Emilia hills, it is also an opportunity to discover Albinea and its green spaces in a different light, filled with live music and slow walks immersed in nature.
The 2026 edition of Risonanze Corali was held on Sunday, June 7th in Albinea (Reggio Emilia), with departure at 4:00 PM from the Parco dei Frassini "Margherita Hack", the green space next to the Pablo Neruda Library in via Morandi.
After the initial gathering, which brought together choirs, the public, and authorities, participants followed a route through choral art and nature, crossing the town's parks.
