The free rock festival at the Parco Fluviale in Rignano sull'Arno
Rignano Rock is a free-entry music festival that transforms the Parco Fluviale of Rignano sull'Arno into an open-air stage dedicated to rock in all its forms every summer. Born from the initiative of the Youth Council of the Municipality of Rignano sull'Arno, the event has become one of the most anticipated summer highlights in this corner of the Metropolitan City of Florence, in the heart of the Valdarno, Tuscany.
The heart of Rignano Rock is the Youth Council, a group of local young people dedicated to creating cultural and social opportunities for the community. Year after year, the festival has grown, cementing its place as a concrete effort to bring life and music to Rignano. It is an event built entirely by young people, providing a platform and a voice for emerging bands and the local rock scene.
The program is designed to satisfy every rock fan, from alternative to the rawest and most immediate sounds. Several bands take the stage for a night defined by distorted guitars and high volume. The 2026 edition featured five groups: Diana Gloom, Kimera, Zefira, Scraffs, and Spleen, for a night of energy and live sound.
Beyond the music, Rignano Rock is a celebration of social life in the open air. As per tradition, there is no shortage of sandwiches and beer, set in an informal and welcoming atmosphere that invites you to enjoy the evening among concerts, friends, and the green backdrop of the Parco Fluviale along the banks of the Arno.
The festival takes place in Rignano sull'Arno, a municipality in the Province of Florence overlooking the Arno River, along the route connecting Florence to the upper Valdarno. The Parco Fluviale, a green area recently redeveloped, is the ideal setting for a community-focused summer outdoor event, easily accessible and immersed in the Tuscan countryside.
The fourth edition of Rignano Rock was held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM, at the Parco Fluviale of Rignano sull'Arno. A free evening of live music that confirmed the festival as one of the most anticipated summer events in the Valdarno.
