The 10 km city race in the heart of Caserta, finishing in front of the Royal Palace
The Reggia Race Ten is a 10-kilometer road race that brings the streets of Caserta, the capital of the province of the same name in Campania, to life. Established in 2026 by ASD Reggia Running, the race offers a fast and spectacular urban route, designed both for competitive runners chasing their personal bests and for mass-participation enthusiasts.
The start is set in Piazza Margherita, while the finish line is located along the main avenue of Piazza Carlo di Borbone, facing the imposing facade of the Royal Palace of Caserta, the famous 18th-century palace recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Running with a view of the Bourbon residence makes this event a truly evocative experience, combining sport with the discovery of Caserta's historical and monumental heritage.
The inaugural race took place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, starting at 8:30 AM with the participation of approximately 1,500 athletes from numerous sports clubs. The event was held under the aegis of the Italian Athletics Federation (FIDAL), with technical management and timing entrusted to the Caserta Race Judges Group. The success in terms of attendance and registrations immediately confirmed the Reggia Race Ten as one of the most popular city races in the area.
Beyond the competition reserved for registered athletes, the Reggia Race Ten aims to be a celebration of sport and the city, capable of drawing families and fans along the course. ASD Reggia Running, already the promoter of the "Reggia-Reggia" International Half Marathon of Caserta, reaffirms with this event its commitment to spreading sports culture and road running in the Caserta territory.
