The Red Cross Festival is one of the most cherished summer events in Levanto, on the coast of the province of La Spezia. Organized by the volunteers of the Local Committee of the Italian Red Cross, it takes place in the days leading up to Ferragosto, enlivening the central Piazza Cavour for three evenings.
