PullUp Fest: Hip Hop on the Walls of Grosseto

PullUp Fest is the event that brings urban culture and hip hop to the heart of Grosseto, the capital of the Maremma region in Tuscany. The festival takes place at the Giardino degli Arcieri, a green space carved into the Baluardo della Rimembranza along the famous Medicean Walls that encircle the city's historic center. For two days, this corner of the city transforms into an open-air urban arena, buzzing with music, dance, art, and street sports.

The Four Pillars of Hip Hop

The festival was founded with the goal of representing all facets of hip hop culture under one banner. Attendees can enjoy:

• Rap concerts and DJ sets, featuring artists from the Italian scene on the main stage;
• Breaking, with breakdance performances and contests;
• Writing and live painting, with artists creating works live on surfaces set up for the occasion;
• Skateboarding, with sessions and demonstrations for board enthusiasts.

The 2026 edition, the fourth of the series, brought prominent names in national rap and urban culture to the Giardino degli Arcieri, including Danno of Colle der Fomento and DJ Lugi, both historic figures of the Italian hip hop scene.

Part of Arena Urbana

PullUp Fest is one of the highlights of Arena Urbana, a long series of events that enlivens the Giardino degli Arcieri from spring to autumn with music, open-air cinema, theater, tastings, and cultural initiatives. The programming is curated by the Le Vie community cooperative, a Maremma-based social enterprise dedicated to the regeneration and care of urban spaces, with the patronage of the Municipality of Grosseto and the collaboration of the Istituzione Le Mura.

A Gathering for the Community

More than just a music festival, PullUp Fest has become a landmark for young people and urban culture enthusiasts in the province of Grosseto and throughout Tuscany. The setting of the Medicean Walls, recognized as one of the city's iconic monuments, gives the festival a unique atmosphere where the historic tradition of the Maremma capital meets the contemporary languages of street culture. Admission, hours, and detailed programming are announced annually through the Arena Urbana and Le Vie cooperative channels.
