In Nanto, in the heart of the Berici Hills in the province of Vicenza, Prosciuttando and L'Ulivo e il Tartufo dei Colli Berici combine three local excellences in a single July festival: Prosciutto Veneto Berico Euganeo DOP, Nanto's De.Co. Scorzone Truffle, and extra virgin DOP oil. Featuring cooking shows, tastings, visits to ham factories, live music, and nature walks among the olive trees, it's a journey into the taste and landscape of the Berici Hills.

Three excellences, one festival

In Nanto, a small municipality nestled in the Berici Hills in the province of Vicenza, one of the richest food and wine events in the area takes place every July: Prosciuttando together with L'Ulivo e il Tartufo dei Colli Berici. Two historic events — the 18th and 33rd editions respectively in 2026 — celebrating the three local excellences: Prosciutto Veneto Berico Euganeo DOP, Nanto's Tartufo Scorzone De.Co., and the extra virgin DOP olive oil from the Berici Hills.

Cooking shows, tastings and visits to ham factories

At the Nanto sports facilities, the gastronomic stand offers dishes built around the area's DOP and De.Co. products, while the cooking shows with the "Giovani del Gusto" (Young Talents of Taste) feature local chefs working with ham, truffle, and oil. Among the most engaging activities are the guided tours of the "King's" ham factory, with a final tasting, by reservation and with limited places.

Music, sports and the Riviera degli Ulivi

The evenings combine gastronomy with entertainment, featuring aperitifs, DJ sets, live music, and sports tournaments. Sunday is dedicated to nature with the "Nanto: la Riviera degli Ulivi" (Nanto: the Olive Riviera) walk, through the olive groves that shape the landscape of the Berici Hills, followed by the communal "Green Tour" lunch. Organized by the Pro Loco Nanto and GS Nanto, the festival is an opportunity to discover a territory where olive growing and truffle cultivation coexist with a great cured meat tradition.

Prosciuttando — edition 2026

The 2026 edition (18th Prosciuttando / 33rd L'Ulivo e il Tartufo dei Colli Berici) takes place from July 8th to 10th at the Nanto sports facilities. Cooking shows, tastings of Prosciutto Veneto Berico Euganeo DOP, De.Co. Scorzone Truffle, and DOP EVO oil, guided tours of the "King's" ham factory, live music, DJ sets, and the "Nanto: la Riviera degli Ulivi" walk.

The Prosciuttando 2026 festival (18th edition) and L'Ulivo e il Tartufo dei Colli Berici (33rd edition) will liven up Nanto from July 8th to 10th. The stars are the local products — Prosciutto Veneto Berico Euganeo DOP, De.Co. Scorzone Truffle, DOP EVO oil — celebrated with cooking shows, tastings, visits to ham factories, music, and sports. The grand finale on Sunday features a walk among the olive trees and a communal lunch.

How to get there

Nanto is located in the Berici Hills, south of Vicenza. By car, take the A4 motorway exit Vicenza Est or the SS247 Riviera Berica; the festival takes place at the municipal sports facilities. The nearest train station is Vicenza, then take a bus or taxi.

Admission and reservations

Free admission to the festival. Guided tours of the "King's" ham factory require mandatory reservation and have limited places. The communal "Green Tour" lunch on Sunday has a fixed menu (around 15 euros). The gastronomic stand is open in the evenings from 7:00 PM.
