The Saints Peter and Paul Festival in a modern version, with live music and good food
The Cagnano Summer Festival originates from the historic Sagra dei Santi Pietro e Paolo (Festival of Saints Peter and Paul) in the hamlet of Cagnano, in Pojana Maggiore, within the Berici Hills of Vicenza province. Over the years, the patron saint festival has adopted a more modern format, while maintaining its roots in the community and its connection to the late June celebration of Saints Peter and Paul.
The formula is that of a grand Venetian summer festival: typical dishes and grilled specialties accompanied by beer, wine, and cocktails, followed by concerts by cover bands, DJ sets, group dances, and entertainment. There's also a funfair, a charity raffle, and an indoor food stand under tents, open every evening from 7 PM. All this is held under the patronage of the Municipality of Pojana Maggiore.
In 2026, the Cagnano Summer Festival will once again liven up the hamlet of Cagnano in Pojana Maggiore during its usual period around the feast of Saints Peter and Paul. The program will reprise the tried-and-tested formula: live music, DJ sets, group dances, a funfair, a charity raffle, and an evening food stand.
Program to be announced. Based on recent editions, the festival typically features multiple evenings with cover band concerts, DJ sets, and group dances, accompanied by grilled specialties and typical dishes at the food stand open every evening from 7 PM, as well as a funfair and charity raffle. Dates and details will be available on the channels of the Cagnano Festival Committee and the Municipality of Pojana Maggiore.
