Progressisti in Festa is the annual event promoted by the cultural and political association Progressisti Democratici per Borgo, scheduled from September 10th to 13th, 2026, at the Foro Boario in Borgo San Lorenzo, in the province of Florence. The event is part of the long Tuscan tradition of political and party festivals, historic venues for popular social life where dining together intertwines with public debate and civic commitment.

The Foro Boario, a reborn structure

The event takes place at the Foro Boario, the area along Via Caduti di Montelungo, on the southern edge of the town and near the Sieve river. The space has been completely regenerated with over 3 million euros in funding, equipped with new dining areas and kitchens: it is now the main hub for major events in the municipal calendar of Borgo San Lorenzo, from the Agricultural Fair to Mugello da Fiaba.
