The Nativity comes alive again in the historic park of Terni with over a hundred participants
The Living Nativity at Parco Le Grazie is one of the most beloved Christmas events in Terni. In the city's evocative historic park, over a hundred costumed participants bring to life a path of acted scenes, ancient crafts, and animals, recreating the atmosphere of the Nativity in a green setting.
The initiative is described by the organizers as a collective story involving volunteers, actors, and families, with the aim of bringing visitors closer to the authentic meaning of Christmas. The public is guided in controlled groups along the different stations of the Nativity scene, in a participatory and emotionally impactful experience.
Promoted by the Confraternity of San Giuseppe and San Francesco di Paola in collaboration with the Municipality of Terni, the USL Umbria 2, Vivi Terni, and various local associations, the living Nativity scene is also an occasion for the entire community to come together. A market of artisans accompanies the path, showcasing the traditions and products of the Terni area.
The 2026/2027 edition of the Living Nativity at Parco Le Grazie reprises the Christmas event in the historic park of Terni. The format is confirmed with over a hundred costumed participants, acted scenes, ancient crafts, and animals along the path, with visits in controlled groups.
The precise schedule of openings and times will be announced by the Confraternity of San Giuseppe and San Francesco di Paola and the Municipality of Terni in the weeks leading up to the holidays, following the usual schedule concentrated between late December and Epiphany.
The detailed schedule for the 2026/2027 edition will be communicated by the organizers closer to the holidays. The established format includes:
