A month of Christmas magic

Natale di Terni is the grand event that, from late November until Epiphany, enlivens the historic centre of the Umbrian capital. Markets, themed villages, luminous installations, games and solidarity initiatives involve the entire city, transforming squares and streets into a widespread Christmas trail.

The Santa Claus Market and the Christmas Village

The heart of the event is the Santa Claus Market, with its characteristic illuminated wooden chalets in Largo Frankl: a large emporium of gift ideas immersed in the scents of cinnamon, hot chocolate and mulled wine. Next to it comes to life the Christmas Village, with Santa Claus's house and fairytale atmospheres for families.

Lights, tree and ice village

In Piazza Europa, a huge ecological and luminous tree is lit up, while Piazza della Repubblica hosts an enchanted carousel and an ice village with an enchanted forest, igloos, light trees and an ice-skating rink. Food stalls and craft stalls complete the market offerings.

Videomapping on historic buildings

Among the most spectacular novelties, from December 8th, the historic buildings of the Chamber of Commerce, the Municipality and the BCT are illuminated by spectacular Christmas-themed videomapping. Natale di Terni thus confirms itself as one of the most anticipated events of the winter in Umbria, capable of combining tradition, lights and fun for all ages.
