A Village Festival That Grew Up

Praticio Rock was born in the early 2000s in Praticello di Gattatico, a hamlet of the Municipality of Gattatico in the province of Reggio Emilia, and has established itself over time as one of the most beloved summer music festivals in the Reggio Emilia plain. Four evenings of free live concerts that attract thousands of people each year to the Multipurpose Cultural Centre Park on Via Cicalini, including families, young people, and music lovers from all over Emilia-Romagna.

Music, Beer, and Food

The soul of the event is music: every evening, bands and artists take the stage, ranging from rock to alternative, from folk to singer-songwriter, with a focus on new acts and emerging groups, alongside well-known names from the national scene. It's no coincidence that the event is also known as Praticio Beer Fest: throughout the evenings, there is a restaurant with traditional cuisine, a cocktail bar, and especially the brewery with a wide selection of craft beers, making the festival a convivial as well as a musical gathering.

A Volunteer Project

What makes Praticio Rock special is its entirely volunteer-driven nature. The festival is organized by the La Palazzina Youth Centre, which involves dozens of young people aged 14 to 35 each year, in collaboration with the Pro Loco and Avis of Gattatico, and with the patronage of the Municipality and Arci Reggio Emilia. An organizational machine that grows year by year and makes the festival a true cultural and social hub for the area.

A Tradition Continues

Festival opens at 7:30 PM and concerts start around 9:30 PM: this is the proven rhythm of a festival that, edition after edition, continues to bring quality music, crafts, and social interaction to Praticello in an informal and family-friendly atmosphere, typical of the best Emilian summer festivals.
