The tradition of Castelli Romani porchetta in the greenery of Parco Laurentino
The Porchetta Festival at Parco Laurentino is the gastronomic event bringing one of Lazio's most beloved culinary treasures to the heart of the capital's southern district. Set in the greenery of the park on Via di Trigoria, between the Laurentino and EUR neighborhoods, the tradition of authentic Castelli Romani porchetta meets a modern, family-friendly format for two days of open-air grilling, flavors, and fun.
The queen of the festival is naturally the porchetta, served crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside, following the recipe that has made this product famous throughout central Italy. Surrounding it is a wide street food area to satisfy every taste:
The event is designed for a stress-free experience. A practical QR code ordering system allows you to browse the menu from your smartphone and order directly from your table, minimizing queues at the registers. Free on-site parking makes arrival easy for those traveling by car.
Great attention is paid to the little ones: the Family Park area is active all weekend with games and bar service, while the Mini Club offers play sessions with dedicated entertainers for children aged 3 and up, by reservation.
Set in the territory of the Municipality of Rome, in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital and the Lazio region, the Parco Laurentino Porchetta Festival has established itself as a pleasant social occasion for the Laurentino district and the entire city. It brings a tradition born in the villages of the Castelli Romani to the capital, offering residents and visitors the chance to enjoy an iconic local product in a green, informal, and all-ages-friendly setting.
