About Pink Flower Trail

The Pink Flower Trail is the mountain running race that opens the season of the Pink Trail Torgnon, amidst the flowery paths of Antey-Saint-André and La Magdeleine. A 18 km course with 1,000 meters of positive elevation gain that crosses woods, pastures, and villages of the Valtournenche, with the Matterhorn watching over the runners. Part of the Tour Trail VDA circuit, it's a technical challenge immersed in the Aosta Valley spring, open to trail running enthusiasts.

The Aosta Valley Spring Trail

The Pink Flower Trail is the spring race organized by ASD Pink Trail Torgnon, the association that also manages the autumn Torgnon Pink Trail. The race takes place between the municipalities of Antey-Saint-André and La Magdeleine, in the heart of Valtournenche, in the province of Aosta, along a route that crosses the flowery paths of the season.

The Course

The distance is 18 km with 1,000 meters of positive elevation gain: a challenging but manageable course for those who regularly practice trail running, alternating technical climbs, woodland sections, and crossings of mountain villages. The panorama ranges over the peaks of Valtournenche, with the Matterhorn as a constant reference.

Part of the Tour Trail VDA Circuit

The Pink Flower Trail is part of the Tour Trail VDA circuit, which includes the main mountain running races in the Aosta Valley. Together with the Torgnon Pink Trail in October, it constitutes one of the two annual events organized by the association, which promote the trails and landscapes of the Torgnon and Valtournenche area.
