The motorcycle rally in Pietraperzia
The Pietraperzia Motorcycle Rally is one of the most anticipated summer events in this Sicilian village, located in the Province of Enna. Founded by the "Pietraperzia moto Alex B." Moto Club, the rally attracts bikers and enthusiasts from Pietraperzia and neighboring towns, transforming the village streets for an entire weekend into a crossroads of roaring engines, vibrant colors, and conviviality.
An event blending passion, memory, and community
The rally is dedicated to the memory of Alex B., the namesake of the organizing club. This dedication gives the event a festive yet heartfelt character, where a love for motorcycles meets remembrance and the spirit of friendship that drives the group. Local residents are warmly invited to participate, and the event has become a staple of the local summer calendar.
Rally, skill games, and parade
The event spans two days. The opening evening, held at the Marconi Sports Field near the Villa Comunale, is dedicated to the gathering of participants and traditional motorcycle skill games: the motorcycle pair race, the flame contest, and the spectacular slow race, which tests the riders' balance. The evening also features live music, a food and drink area, and an awards ceremony where participation plaques are presented.
The final day features a gathering and registration in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, in the heart of the town, followed by a scenic tour through the local roads and a social refreshment to conclude the event.
Pietraperzia and the Estate Pietrina
The rally is part of the Estate Pietrina program, a series of summer events promoted by the Municipality of Pietraperzia. Between late July and late August, the town hosts dance evenings, food festivals, concerts, dance performances, and fireworks. Visiting Pietraperzia during the rally is a great way to discover an authentic village in the Enna hinterland, dominated by the ruins of a Norman castle and rich in popular traditions, during one of the most vibrant times of the year.
Pietraperzia Motorcycle Rally — edition 2026
The Pietraperzia Motorcycle Rally is expected to return in 2026 for its summer edition, traditionally held in August as part of the Estate Pietrina program in the Municipality of Pietraperzia (EN).
At the moment, the dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been made official. The usual two-day format is expected, featuring a rally and skill games at the Marconi Sports Field and a parade through the village streets. The detailed program will be published by the organizers closer to the event.

How to get there
By car: from the A19 Palermo-Catania motorway, take the Enna exit, then follow the SS117bis towards Caltanissetta until you reach Pietraperzia. Nearest airports: Catania-Fontanarossa and Palermo-Punta Raisi.
