The Pianella White Night is one of the most anticipated events of the summer in this village in the province of Pescara, in Abruzzo. Promoted by the Pianella Municipal Administration, the event transforms Piazza dei Vestini and the main streets of the center for one evening into a grand open-air stage, buzzing with music, shows, and entertainment until the early hours.

A historic center that comes alive

During the evening, the heart of the town fills with people: shops remain open, cafe tables spill out into the squares, and the streets turn into a continuous trail of music, animation, and fun. It follows the classic Italian "white night" formula, designed to bring the center to life in a unique way, with activities suitable for all ages, from children to the elderly.

The highlight of the Pianella summer

The White Night traditionally represents one of the final moments of the Municipality's rich summer calendar, specifically the one dedicated to the summer pedestrian zone, closing the weeks of events that animate Pianella from June to September on a high note. The administration considers it a signature event, capable of making the town "increasingly lively and attractive" and gifting the community a night of shared celebration.

An event for the region

Part of the "Pianella in Festa" program, alongside patronal feasts, food festivals, concerts, and exhibitions, the White Night involves local businesses, associations, and the local Pro Loco, helping to promote the village and its tourism potential. Every year, the evening attracts a large crowd from the neighboring towns of the Pescara Valley and the Vestina area.
